High Security Steel Doors

Maximum protection against forced entry and vandalism. Made-to-measure heavy-duty doors supplied and installed for asset managers and landlords.

Uncompromising Protection for High-Risk Assets

When standard security isn’t enough, Entrad’s high security steel doors are engineered to resist sustained attack — including crowbar, cutting, drilling and impact attempts — protecting high-risk sites where a standard doorset isn’t enough. Designed to deter and withstand sustained physical attacks, ram-raiding, and vandalism, these doors offer absolute peace of mind for high-value and vulnerable premises.

We work closely with asset managers, block managers, and school administrators to supply and fit highly fortified, made-to-measure security doors. From remote industrial units to inner-city community halls, we ensure your building is protected by the highest grade of physical security available.

Engineered to Defeat Forced Entry

Heavy-Duty Steel Construction

Supplied with reinforced 1.5mm Magnelis steel leaves and 1.5mm heavy-duty frames, offering vastly superior resistance to cutting, drilling, and blunt force impacts.

Anti-Jemmy Technology

Fitted with advanced multi-point locking systems and a flush astragal on the strike side, preventing crowbar attacks and protecting the door seams against forced entry.

Dog-Bolted Hinges

Supplied with four Class 14 stainless steel lift-off hinges featuring 15mm integrated security bolts. This ensures the door cannot be removed from the frame even if the external hinge pins are compromised.

Reinforced Hardware

Fully customisable with advanced profile cylinders (including master key systems), heavy-duty mortice locks, and reinforced handles specifically designed to withstand severe vandalism.

How Our High Security Doors Resist Attack

Threat Countermeasure
Crowbar / prying Full-height joggled astragal covering the leaf-to-frame gap, plus reinforced 1.5mm frame
Hinge attack Class 14 hinges with 15mm security bolts, plus 12mm dog bolts between hinge pairs — the leaf stays engaged even if hinges are cut
Lock attack Protected cylinders and multi-point locking options
Impact / vandalism Heavy-gauge Magnelis steel leaf with reinforced, insulated core

Understanding Security Ratings: LPS 1175 and SR Levels

LPS 1175 is the Loss Prevention Certification Board’s standard for physical security, grading products by how long they resist attack with escalating toolsets. You’ll see it expressed as Security Ratings: SR1 (opportunist attack, basic tools) up to SR4 and beyond (determined attack, heavy tools, longer durations).

Do you need a certificated rating? Check your insurance policy and any project specification first — some insurers and frameworks mandate a specific LPS 1175 rating, and if yours does, our team will advise on the right certificated route for that opening.

Where a certificated rating isn’t mandated, our high security steel doorsets deliver heavy-gauge, attack-resistant construction — reinforced frames, anti-jemmy detailing, dog-bolted hinges and multi-point locking — CE marked to EN 14351-1 and made to measure for your opening.

Access Control Integration

Need controlled entry? Our high security doorsets can be prepared at manufacture for keypads, electric strikes, maglocks and access control systems, so your security hardware integrates cleanly rather than being retrofitted.

High Security Steel Door FAQs

What is an anti-jemmy door?

A door detailed to defeat prying attacks: a full-height astragal covers the gap between leaf and frame so a crowbar can’t get purchase, backed by a reinforced frame and dog-bolted hinges. All our high security doorsets include anti-jemmy detailing as standard.

What security level do I need for a warehouse or commercial unit?

It depends on your risk profile and your insurer. Many commercial premises are well protected by a heavy-gauge high security doorset; if your insurance policy or project specification mandates a certificated LPS 1175 rating, tell us and we’ll advise on the right route for that opening.

Can high security doors include access control?

Yes — keypads, fob readers, electric strikes and maglocks can all be accommodated, with doors prepared at manufacture for clean integration.

Are high security doors suitable for residential block entrances?

Yes. Communal entrance doorsets combine attack resistance with escape hardware to BS EN 1125 or BS EN 179, so security never compromises residents’ means of escape.
